ATLANTA MOVIE CLUB
These terms explain the ground rules for using our website and apps and participating in Atlanta Movie Club outings.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
By creating an account, using the website or mobile applications, committing to an outing, or otherwise using Atlanta Movie Club services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Atlanta Movie Club is an independent Atlanta-area moviegoing community. References in these Terms to “the Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the operator of the Atlanta Movie Club services. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the website, software, brand, or other intellectual property to any member or participant.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use your account only for yourself. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect members, the community, our systems, or third parties, or for material or repeated violations of these Terms.
An event may contain one or more outings, each representing a particular screening, venue, date, and time. “Committed” means you presently intend to attend that outing. “Interested” is not a ticket reservation. A commitment is not confirmation that a ticket has been purchased or assigned unless the site or an organizer expressly confirms it. If plans change, update your status promptly. You are responsible for guests you add and for keeping guest counts accurate.
Atlanta Movie Club does not sell tickets. Ticket arrangements vary by outing. Members may book their own tickets, use a theater subscription or loyalty program, use an available A-List Entourage arrangement, or request a ticket from a Club-coordinated group block when that option is offered. For a Club block, we may use member requests to determine how many tickets to purchase and then assign or make those purchased tickets available to requesting members. If the Club purchases a ticket for you or your guest, you agree to reimburse the Club for the actual cost of that ticket; the Club does not add a markup. Seat assignments may change to keep the group together or accommodate operational needs. If we purchase or hold a ticket at your request, you agree to follow the stated cancellation deadline. Refunds depend on the applicable theater, ticket source, timing, and whether the ticket can be reassigned or refunded. We do not guarantee that a late cancellation can be refunded.
We may cancel, reschedule, move, or change an outing when a theater changes a showtime, a screening is canceled, circumstances make the outing impractical, or for other reasonable operational or safety reasons. We will try to communicate material changes promptly.
Atlanta Movie Club is not affiliated with or sponsored by AMC Theatres, Regal, Cinemark, Letterboxd, WhatsApp, TMDB, film studios, distributors, festivals, or venues unless a specific event expressly says otherwise. Theater memberships, loyalty programs, ticketing systems, parking facilities, restaurants, transportation providers, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms. Members are responsible for complying with those rules.
Members and guests must act respectfully toward other members, theater staff, venue staff, and the public. Harassment, threats, stalking, discriminatory conduct, unwanted sexual conduct, violence, deliberate disruption, or conduct that reasonably makes the community unsafe or seriously unwelcoming is not permitted. Organizers may remove a person from an outing or the community when reasonably necessary to address safety, misconduct, disruption, or repeated disregard of community rules.
Movie outings and related social activities occur in public places and carry ordinary risks associated with travel, crowds, theaters, restaurants, alcohol service, and social events. You are responsible for your own transportation, personal property, choices, and conduct and for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you.
You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content to the services, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Club and its services. You may not submit content you do not have the right to share or content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, privacy-invasive, or intentionally misleading. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or community standards.
Group photographs may be taken at outings. When practical, members who do not want to appear in a group photo should tell the organizer or photographer before the photo is taken. Posting a member-submitted photograph through the services represents that the submitter has the right to share it.
The Atlanta Movie Club services, including original software, site design, databases, text, graphics, logos, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to their applicable operator or rights holder and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. We grant members a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the services for their intended personal community purposes. You may not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or interfere with the services except as permitted by law or with written permission.
The website, apps, event information, integrations, notifications, seating tools, and other features may change, contain errors, or occasionally be unavailable. Showtimes, prices, seating, venue information, and third-party data can change without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that third-party information will always be complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Atlanta Movie Club does not control theaters, venues, other members, transportation, restaurants, or other third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the services or participation in Club activities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, your material breach of these Terms, your infringement of another person’s rights, or content you submit without the necessary rights.
You agree that notices and operational communications relating to your account, commitments, tickets, events, security, support requests, and these Terms may be provided electronically. Marketing communications, where used, remain subject to applicable law and available opt-out rights.
These Terms are governed by Georgia law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a lawsuit, the parties should make a good-faith effort to resolve a dispute informally by written notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond. Subject to any applicable small-claims or mandatory consumer-law rights, litigation arising from these Terms or the services shall be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Fulton County, Georgia.
We may update these Terms as the Club and services evolve. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and, when a change is material, may provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver.
Questions about these Terms or the Club can be submitted through the site’s support tools or by email at admin@atlantamovieclub.org. For practical questions about attending, see About & FAQ.
