ATLANTA MOVIE CLUB
Pedro arrives at the coast and reunites with Maxi, whom he hasn't seen since childhood. Hoping to make his ex-girlfriend jealous, Maxi asks Pedro to pretend to be his boyfriend. Pedro agrees, amused, but fails to realize that this game could turn into reality.

This was a cute, indie slow-burn romance/rom-com. The romantic chemistry between Pedro & Maxi was really well-acted. And, their friend group felt very real and supportive. I’m glad that this film avoided the melancholic & depressive endings associated with this genre.
